Malakio, created in 2020, developed the Istrenn composite, a sustainable material made from reused shell waste. The company collects empty shells from oyster farmers and restaurateurs in Brittany and Charente, then transforms them in Nantes without cooking to create unique or serial objects with a low carbon footprint.
