Extracted from European quarries and unheated, Diatomaceous Earth (silicon dioxide) is composed of very sharp microscopic marine algae fossils .
Diatomaceous Earth is used as a multi-purpose household product for the maintenance of the house, garden and areas frequented by animals (cushions, baskets, cages, etc.).
It deodorizes and absorbs humidity very strongly , interesting properties for litter and animal habitats, but also in other situations: urine, stains on fabrics or leather. Thanks to its very fine and abrasive structure, diatomaceous earth cleans without scratching and shines stainless steel, copper, pewter and silverware.

Usage tips
– Make a paste by adding a little water to Diatomaceous Earth, apply to the surface to be cleaned, rub then rinse.
– Sprinkle the animals’ resting areas (baskets, cushions, cages, etc.) with 10 to 30 g/m² of Diatomaceous Earth. Repeat the operation 1 to 2 times a week.
