A natural clay with great absorbent power, Terre de Sommières was discovered in the village of Sommières near Montpellier in the 19th century. Extracted from quarries in the Mediterranean basin, it is untreated, unrefined and non-toxic for the environment.

Extra-fine clay, Sommières earth is a wonderful dry stain remover, without halo, of greasy stains on carpets, leather, marble, parquet floors... but also on fragile surfaces such as textiles (even silk). It absorbs 80% of its weight and also neutralizes many other types of stains such as urine on cushions or wine stains on tablecloths.

Usage tips

Dry stain remover par excellence, Sommières earth is sprinkled generously on the fabric to be removed: clothing, sofa, rug, carpet... or on wood. Leave to act for several hours, rub if necessary, remove excess powder before vacuuming.

The land of Sommières is used for other uses.
