With its generous dimensions of 30cm, this board offers a multitude of uses, ranging from the presentation of small sweet or savory treats to the creation of an elegant and neat table decoration.

Each board allows you to recycle 395g of shellfish.

Each piece is handcrafted and is unique. It contains around 60% shellfish and no chemicals are added. Thanks to a protective varnish, it is also protected from possible stains.

Resistant to heat and temperature changes, these bases are strong and built to last.

The brand

Malakio, created in 2020, developed the Istrenn composite, a sustainable material made from reused shell waste. The company collects empty shells from oyster farmers and restaurateurs in Brittany and Charente, then transforms them in Nantes without cooking to create unique or serial objects with a low carbon footprint.
